The Camp Arktika is the base camp of the explorer Gilles ELKAIM. In the heart of Finnish Lapland, 300 Kilometers (187 Miles) from the Arctic Circle, Gilles manages a breeding of sled dogs unique in the world.
His goal is to preserve some primitive Siberian breeds endangered.
The Camp Arktika is the meeting place of boreal nature lovers trying to avoid mass tourism, enthusiasts of polar dogs being thirsty of northern adventures.
The Camp Arktika team organizes polar cruises into the Arctic onboard its Polar vessel Arktika.
